Jester hat
Jester hat that I made for some pretty cool gals that I know. Here is a link to the pattern. http://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-Hats-Scarves-Gloves/Jingle-Jester-Hat-from-Red-Heart-Yarn .
I still have to add the jingle bells to the the ends :) I am also going to make a red one with green trim and a green one with red trim. There are just sooo many single crochet in this pattern!!!

USO Christmas Potholders
I am so STOKED!!! I found out today that I get to crochet 40 American flag potholders for USO volunteer Christmas giveaway gift baskets! I had to order the right color blue online because for some odd reason no one in town sells royal blue :/ I have to have these done by December 1st and I really hope that I make the deadline! Either way, I am proud to have had the opportunity to do something for others :)

Potholders!
Set of 4 potholders. I absolutely LOVE how these are so think you can’t possibly get burned through holes in the pattern!! They are each about 7 inches square. Here is a link to the pattern :)

They're magically delicious!
Lucky charms coaster set... Still trying to get up the courage to actually post this on Etsy. I couldn't find a pattern for the moon anywhere, so I made one up. It is basically a converted half granny square. I will post the pattern as soon as I find the time to put the final touches on it. :)

Seein' Stars ; )
These things are so easy and fast to make. I'm working on a lucky charms coaster set for all of my friends for Christmas! Already gave them the shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day. Found the tutorial for these stars as well as a granny style heart and tree from The Royal Sisters blog http://theroyalsisters.blogspot.com/2009/11/grandma-twinkle-tutorial.html. Gonna make some garland for Christmas as well as some ornaments and give them away as Christmas presents : )

Cutest Dog Ever!!
An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of. He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head; he then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out.
The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks. Curious I pinned a note to his collar: 'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'
The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar: 'He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 - he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?'

In The Beginning
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for visiting my blog. Please bear with me since this is my first time ever writing a blog post. Here is a little about my crafting history. My Grandmother taught me almost everything that I know about crafts. I have been crafting on and off since I was a little girl, so I thought it was about time that I shared it with the world! I picked up crocheting again a little over a year ago and absolutely love it! I just started up an Etsy shop and am really hoping that it takes off; if not, then I will still have fun along the way :)
